we're here!!!

We arrived here in Guatemala tonight around 8:00 pm. We got into the hotel right before nine, and Jorge and my dear friend Lou Lynn and her precious babe Essie were here to greet us! We had such a great time chatting with them. Then came the foster mom, Norma, and her two sisters with our forever baby, Kella Hope. She was absolutely beautiful, and a little more grown up. It is so surreal that we are finally getting to bring her home after this long process. The handoff was a bit harder on baby Kella than we had predicted. She has a sense for what was going on. She is sound asleep in her bed now. We are all tired, so pictures will come tomorrow!!!

Once again, thank you all for your ongoing prayers, support and love! We will definitely be keeping you updated through our process!

I am rejoicing this morning, knowing that your little angel is with you...Praying that she slept through just fine and that her eyes will fix upon her mama this morning and KNOW! Remember, those tears and anxieties of leaving Norma are good. Praying that the "sorrow will last gor a night, but joy will come in the morning". Much love to all of you...looking forward to seeing her in your arms.

Kindred Klan - we're so excited for you that precious Kella is finally where she belongs!!!! I hope you had a sweet night of sleep. My heart breaks for Norma - I know she loves Kella and has cared for her so well. That is so hard. May she be blessed with knowing that Kella is so loved by her wonderful forever family!!!! We are offering up sweet praises to God for you all! We'll be praying for Kella's transition. Can't wait to see pictures!!!!!!! Love you, Irene

As we were looking at sweet Kella's picture, we were rejoicing that you are finally bringing her home to forever be with your amazing family. Can't wait to meet Kella and see new pictures. Give her lots of hugs and kisses for us. I will pray that the transition for Kella will go smoothly. Love you, Annetta

What an excited evening for all of you and what a blessing to have dear friends with you who have taken the same path. God is good. I'm sure it was hard for Norma to finally place Kella into her "forever mama's" arms for good - what a needed blessing she has been for precious Kella. Find comfort knowing that she has taken care of Kella for this specific purpose, and God will also take care of her. We are so anxious to see you all and pray details work out smoothly over the next couple days. Girls are doing great! We love you!
